Chinese Business visa (F Visa)
A visa to China available to anyone travelling for business, conferences, research, lectures, scientific-technological and cultural exchanges from Western nations companies. A Chinese Business visa is also applicable to those individuals who go to China for
short-term studies or intern practice for no more than six months.
* Please note that if you have been employed by a Chinese company, you will be required to apply for a working visa to China (Z visa) instead of a China business visa.
Documents required for Chinese Business visa
- Original passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank visa pages.
- Completed
Chinese Embassy Visa Application Form
signed & dated by the applicant.
- One recent colour passport photograph. *
* Please note that home-made digital photos or copied photos are not acceptable.
- An invitation letter or fax from a Chinese Government department, a Chinese company or a letter of introduction from a company in the UK as proof of purpose of the visit.
Additional documents (as of April 15 2008):
- A copy of Chinese hotel booking if applicable
- A copy of outward and return flight ticket booking
Types of Business Visa
- Single Entry Business visas to China are applicable only for one-time entry and exit to and from China
- Double Entry Business visas to China are applicable for two entries into China, and would be required if you travel outside mainland China after entrance (for example visit to Hong Kong) and subsequently need to re-enter mainland China before flying home.
- Multiple Entry Business visas to China are available for a period of 6, 12 or 24 months subject to discretion of the Chinese Embassy in processing your Business Chinese application form.
Important notes:
- Visas cannot be applied for more than three months in advance of the entry date.
- The length of Chinese Business visa is determined by the Chinese Embassy.
- If you have only been granted a visa with shorter valid period of stay than applied for, we will refund the difference between the fees of the visa applied for and that which was granted.
