Tourist visa to China (L Visa)

For tourism purposes, or to visit family or for friends or for other personal affairs.

Tourist visas for China are available for single entry or double entry only. Multiple entry visas are not granted for tourists.

Documents required for Chinese tourist visa

1. Original passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank visa pages.
2. Completed Chinese Embassy Visa Application Form signed & dated by the applicant.
3. One recent colour passport photograph.*
   

   * Please note that home-made digital photos or copied photos are not acceptable

Two types of Tourist Visas

• Single Entry visas are only valid for three months for one-time entry and exit to and from China
• Double Entry visas are valid for six months for two entries into China.
