Chinese Work visa (Z Visa)

Chinese work visas for foreign citizen who is to take up a post or employment in China and his or her accompanying family members, or to give commercial performances in China.

Documents required

1. Original passport with at least 6 months validity or 18 months validity if you intend to stay in China for more than 1 year and at least 2 blank visa pages.
2. Completed Chinese Embassy Visa Application Form signed & dated by the applicant.
3. One recent colour passport photograph. *
   

   * Please note that home-made digital photos or copied photos are not acceptable.

4. Employment approval documents depending on the type of employment.

Important note:

• Visas to China should be applied about one month in advanceof the entry date but cannot be applied for more than three months in advance.
• The length of Chinese visa is determined by the Chinese Embassy . Work visa issued is usually with a single entry, valid for 3 months with no duration of stay.
